Comparison

These are my 2 magazines I have designed. They both use the same colour schemes of red, black and white. I have used these colours because the neutral colours white and black make the blood red stand out. This is really good for a horror magazine. As you can see by the two magazines, the main difference between  the two is the picture, One is zoomed in and focuses on the mask and the other is zoomed out and focuses on the stance. Apart from the picture, not much has changed. One small thing that is different is the fact that the cover lines are on different sides. I had to do this as traditionally the cover lines are on the left, however, I had to move them as they hid the weapon that Nathan was holding. This meant I had to move the Pug as well so the right side didn't look too crowded. Overall I think that I prefer the cover on the left. The Masthead at the top is a lot more bold and eye grabbing than the one on the right. Also the picture is a lot more intimidating which is very good for a horror magazine.
